Create Neptune

Create Neptune was hired by Matt Donner Consulting to develop a language-learning application for adults. The consulting company, which operates at the intersection of education, technology, and creativity, found Create Neptune through an online search. They chose Create Neptune for the project due to the alignment of company values and their background in education. A team of 6-10 employees from Create Neptune was assigned to the project. The task was to convert a loosely-held curriculum of a private Charter school into custom language practice games for an immigrant adult audience. The team created over 900 different gameplay stages, managed through a custom curriculum map with various other gamification and engagement techniques. The application was successful in both entertaining and educating the audience. The usage was tracked using differentiation of learning styles and a set of non-verbal instructions. The results were impressive with the majority of the metrics well above industry standards. Additionally, the time to lesson acquisition was cut by 50% for the test audience who played 15 minutes a day compared to the control group.
