Coshx

Coshx was hired by the founder of Simili, a mobile app that helps groups decide where to eat and when to meet, to transform an ill-functioning web app into a well-designed mobile app for both iOS and Android. The complex project involved integrating with multiple databases and developing an algorithm to recommend restaurants based on group preferences. Coshx built the apps using React Native, designed screens and backend actions for user flows, and built a flexible backend that could adapt to changing frontend needs. The project also included Postgres databases, Ruby On Rails, Heroku, SendGrid, and Firebase, and accessed information through the Yelp API. The client was pleased with Coshx's thought leadership and the support provided by the team throughout the project.

In another project, Coshx was hired by a healthy food restaurant chain to develop a native app for both Android and iOS with feature changes. The app, a standard restaurant ordering service, allowed users to select the time for their order and place it. The backend provided functionalities for the client to adjust and monitor orders, set time options, place different locations, and set promotions for specific locations. A separate kitchen app was also developed for workers to see order requests. The client praised Coshx for their capabilities and the ongoing support provided by the team of developers. The client invested around $70,000 in this project which started in July 2018 and is ongoing.
