Copious Creative was hired by CD Baby, a music distribution company, to redesign their main website. The old website had been around since 2009 without any major overhauls and the information layout was random. Copious created a new, more engaging version of the website that drove more conversion. The new site had a better information hierarchy, making it easier to find information and it represented the brand in a modern way. They created a new site map and designed five key pages, setting the design style for the site. The project took three months and ended on schedule. CD Baby was so satisfied with the results that they hired Copious again for another project. The first project cost about $95,000 and the second one is estimated to come in at the $125,000 price range.
Copious Creative was also hired by a retail and e-commerce seller of home improvement goods to stabilize and maintain their homegrown Ruby on Rails platform. The company had recently launched a new site and were experiencing production issues. Copious was brought in as a backup to help stabilize the site. They expanded their role into both backend and front-end site management, effectively becoming the company's third-party web administrator. The relationship with Copious is ongoing, with two to three people working full time a month. The project started about two years ago.
