Convergence

Convergence was hired by the Natural Resource Sector, Government of British Columbia to design a reference data service. The project involved the vendor understanding the current system and goals, conducting stakeholder interviews, and creating an initial design. The design was then improved through a series of meetings and feedback sessions. The team from Convergence consisted of a project manager and two service designers. The vendor was chosen based on their high qualifications and the requirements of the project.

In a different project, Convergence worked with a tech company to provide an end-to-end build of a user dashboard with a simple user experience. The project also required strict adherence to high levels of security and data integrity. The vendor was chosen based on a referral from a previous client. Convergence designed and built the entire technology stack, worked with backend vendors, and collaborated with focus groups and clients. The team included the CEO, a project manager, and other team members as needed.

For a non-profit research agency, REACH BC, Convergence updated and migrated their web platform to be hosted in AWS. The project involved redesigning and updating several features of the web app, changing the website content management system, and migrating it to React.js and Next.js. The backend was also developed on Django and changed to React.js. The team from Convergence consisted of the CEO, three designers, a project manager, a system architect, and a development team. The vendor was chosen based on an online search and their competitive rate. The project was completed, and Convergence will continue to provide maintenance services.
