Highlights from Recent Projects
Contus successfully completed a backend e-commerce development and payment feature project for an online store based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. The founder of the store engaged Contus to create a new e-commerce marketplace for their business, with a specific request for an in-house capability to add products to the platform's admin panel. The Contus team, which included a designer, developer, support executive, and team leader, expanded the platform's e-commerce functionality and integrated a payment gateway within the site. The team also revamped the theme and homepage, linking each item available for purchase to its respective designer.
The company also developed an online learning platform for an education company. Contus was hired to build the core platform based on the design and prototype provided by the client. Using primarily PHP and Laravel for backend development and Drip for CRM, Contus built a full solution for desktop and mobile devices. The platform allows users to stream educational content and view other informational documentation such as PDFs, PowerPoints, or audio files. The team of seven worked on the project full-time from March–September 2018, integrating multiple features on both the front- and backend to create an accessible and stunning streaming platform.
Contus also completed a project for a construction material company, Bobbie, developing a Magento extension for their online digital store. The young startup required significant Magento development experience at an affordable cost, which Contus was able to provide. The goal of the project was to integrate a marketplace Magento extension and add new functionalities to differentiate the company from its competition. The Contus team, which consisted of between one and three developers and one designer, was responsible for end-to-end development and associated web design. They successfully integrated features like Ajax update of all product information, transparency in the sellers' terms and conditions, online tender capabilities, real-time freight calculation, and a Lookbook-inspired style.
