ConnectPoint was hired by a utility company to develop a comprehensive digital enterprise platform, incorporating ERP and IoT components. The goal was to serve all customers and employees and enable the SmartCity in cooperation with the EU/Horizon SPARCS Funding. The company's CIO/CDO selected ConnectPoint for their experience in developing architectures and software development frameworks in an agile SCRUM environment. The project involved frontend and microservice backends, IoT services, and 24/7 operations. ConnectPoint's team of around 30 individuals, including a CTO, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and developers, collaborated on the project.
In another project, ConnectPoint was engaged by an ecological company to develop a customized app for real-time data display. The engineering director of the company chose ConnectPoint due to their successful bid in a public competition. The app was developed using the Java framework and was designed to manage real-time data, even with a large influx of data into the system. This data was then displayed on a Geographical Information System (GIS), allowing for the interlinking of multiple maps. ConnectPoint also developed a dispatcher operations dashboard. The project, which ran from October 2014 to April 2020, was handled by a team of 4-5 developers from ConnectPoint.
