Comminus

Comminus was hired by a Global Financial Services Company to implement a digital reporting app. The app was designed to provide senior management with relevant business information via their mobile devices and web. The features included automated reporting, data analytics, and innovative ways of sharing data. The goal of the project was to automate and digitize corporate and local reports, reduce the time and cost of creating management reports, and provide new insights and unlimited data availability. The project team included a project manager, multiple database and front end developers, and a BI consultant.

For a Fortune 500 tobacco company, Comminus took on the challenge of updating a 15-year-old data warehouse. The infrastructure needed to be built from scratch to accommodate the company's innovative products and transforming business. The goal was to create a flexible and scalable solution that could grow based on business requests. The vendor selection process identified Comminus as the best fit for the project due to their excellent presentation, experience in similar projects, and flexible approach. The project team included a project manager and several developers who joined based on specific needs.

A financial services company engaged Comminus for the development of an application for risk figure calculations. The previous tool was a basic Excel application, and there was a need for an application that could fulfill additional business requirements. Comminus developed the backend and frontend of a web-based application, offering ongoing support. The team consisted of up to five people. The application, which is only for internal use, has been in development since January 2017 with an investment of $500,000.
