Comminus

Comminus was hired by a global financial services company to implement a digital reporting app. This app was designed to provide senior management with key business information. The app included several digital features such as automated reporting, storytelling, commenting, screenshot-to-mail, fingerprint and face ID, and built-in data analytics. The goal of the project was to automate and digitize corporate and local reports, reduce time and cost to create management reports, provide new insights, and enable unlimited data availability and BI self-services. The project was successful, with Comminus demonstrating their expertise in digital solutions.

In another project, Comminus was tasked with developing a web-based application for a financial services company. The application, which calculates risk figures for other entities, was designed to replace a basic Excel application that was no longer meeting the business's needs. Comminus was provided with design specs and wireframes, and then developed the backend and frontend of the application. The application is only used internally and is not internet-facing. The project has been ongoing since January 2017 and Comminus continues to offer support.

For a tobacco company, Comminus was hired to develop a new data warehouse. The previous data warehouse was over 15 years old and no longer supported the business's needs, especially after the launch of innovative products transformed the business. Comminus was selected from among the top 5 data warehousing suppliers in Croatia and Slovenia. The project was carried out in phases, with constant communication and daily scrum meetings. Comminus provided a project manager to serve as the main point of contact, along with a full-time developer and other team members as needed. The project was successful, with Comminus demonstrating their ability to deliver flexible and scalable solutions.
