ComfNet Solutions GmbH was engaged by an audit firm to provide IT consulting and administrative support for a project commissioned by one of their clients. The company provided two consultants who were tasked with reworking documentation, documenting processes, and reviewing audit materials. Their services allowed the audit firm to concentrate on the actual auditing tasks. The deliverables provided by ComfNet Solutions were internal controls related to the Sarbanes–Oxley Act, a US federal law that applies to companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The internal controls required a review, reworking, and auditing of IT systems, application databases, and data centers.

Following this project, ComfNet Solutions continued to offer support in business consulting and IT strategy. They assisted the audit firm in outlining a cybersecurity strategy and analyzing risk management patterns for their client. Throughout the engagement, the audit firm had the support of three consultants from ComfNet Solutions, with the founder and CEO, Mohammad, serving as the main point of contact. The collaboration between the two companies began in mid-2020 and continued until the end of the same year, during which time the audit firm invested approximately $17,000 USD. The partnership proved to be a successful collaboration, and the two companies have remained in contact.
