Cogent Labs

Cogent Labs was hired by Trella, an IT company, to develop a native Android app. The team at Cogent Labs designed the app and created a data warehouse on Redash, allowing the client to extract necessary data. The app allows customers to invite vendors to join by adding their names and phone numbers. The vendors receive an email with a link to the app and a password to log in. The app also allows customers to set their asking price and lowest accepted price, and vendors are notified of available shipments for bid. The project began in October 2021 and is ongoing, with Cogent Labs providing continuous maintenance and support.

In another project, a B2B marketplace company hired Cogent Labs to develop an MVP for their product idea and gather customer feedback. The scope of the project included translating the company's product requirements document into a user-friendly UI, developing features for the marketplace, including notifications, a quotation system, a messaging platform, and an admin platform to manage all the listings on the marketplace. The programming languages used included Python, SQL, HTML, and JavaScript. The project was successful, with Cogent Labs providing end-to-end services for custom software development.

Cogent Labs also provided software development support to IDEMS International, a not-for-profit company devoted to development, education, and the mathematical sciences. They supported the development of a Wagtail/Django website structure that would have multiple deployments, implementing specific features in the backend, such as quizzes, surveys, language translation, commenting system, and chatbot. They also supported some front-end design, ensuring all work was available on low-end devices, including feature phones with no JavaScript. The project was successful, with Cogent Labs demonstrating professionalism and expertise in software development.
