CodeWalnut was hired by PxG Partners to enhance the performance of a website for one of their clients, Matrix Academy. The specific objectives were to improve mobile user experience, page load speeds, and user engagement on the page. CodeWalnut was chosen for their competitive pricing, good value for cost, and a referral. A team of 2-5 employees was assigned to the project. They successfully reduced the page size transferred to the browser on the first load, converted images to webp format, resized and compressed images for optimal quality in minimum file size, deployed server-side configs gZip and page speed module, and applied lazy load on images and heavy-loading sections like YouTube videos.

For Consensus Cloud Solutions Inc., CodeWalnut was tasked with translating static design comps into a functioning WordPress website using BootStrap 5 and the Advanced Custom Fields Plugin, and optimizing the site for load and SEO ranking. CodeWalnut was selected based on a referral and a successful initial meeting to discuss project scope. A larger team of 6-10 employees was assigned to this project. They worked in phases to create/migrate over 235+ pages and blog posts from the existing website into a new custom WordPress theme based on new designs provided. They developed custom Gutenberg components using Advanced Custom Fields and the Bootstrap 5 Framework, created various custom post types and functionality for a dynamic website experience, and ensured all coding was done in a tight scalable way to ensure optimal page scores and load times.
