Codeswop

Codeswop was engaged by Mark1 Labs, a creative division of a media buying agency, to provide outsourced development work for a range of projects. Over a two-year period from 2016 to 2018, Codeswop assisted with tasks that ranged from gaming to complex PHP setups, and the development of content management systems. The team comprised a project manager and two developers. The collaboration was marked by transparency in cost, with Codeswop providing competitive rates and not charging unnecessarily for services. The client appreciated Codeswop's expertise, advice, and the convenience of their location in the same city. The engagement continues with Codeswop providing maintenance and potentially starting on new projects.

Irontree, a data management, cyber security, compliance, and continuity solutions provider, contracted Codeswop to build a robust and secure customized website. The project, which ran from October 2018 to February 2019, saw Codeswop design and develop a WordPress website, using custom code to create specific features. The Codeswop team worked from wireframes and requirements provided by Irontree, but also suggested best practices and additional design options. The $10,000 investment in the website has led to an ongoing retainer relationship, with Irontree continuing to collaborate with Codeswop on new functionality.
