Highlights from Recent Projects
Codesmen LLC was commissioned by global workforce nonprofit, Innovate+Educate, to develop a skills marketplace for a client in New York. The project entailed the creation of a three-way platform for learners, community colleges, and training providers across the state to add their resources. The development team, led by a project lead, also included graphic artists who worked on logo and branding. The project, which began in May 2018, cost between $200,000 and $400,000 and is still ongoing, with Codesmen currently holding a maintenance contract for revisions and edits.
In another project, Codesmen was hired by the founder of a news website to provide web development support. The website, a news aggregation site, was built by Codesmen, who also implemented additional features and functionalities as the project progressed. The project, which ran from June to October 2019, involved two regular team members from Codesmen and cost between $50,000 and $70,000.
The company also worked with the Workforce Development Institute, a New York state-wide nonprofit, to create a web platform. The platform was designed to make it easier for individuals to discover, compare, and connect with educational opportunities from community colleges, career technical education providers, and union apprenticeship programs. The project, which cost around $150,000, began in September and was completed by early March. Codesmen continues to maintain the platform and make enhancements based on user feedback.
