Codeheroes

Codeheroes was commissioned by a fashion startup to develop the backend of their app, a platform that helps users decide on new clothing purchases. The client, an Android developer, had conceived the idea and realized the need for a robust backend but lacked the expertise to create it. Codeheroes built the backend entirely based on the client's requirements, with the Android front-end developed by the client and the iOS version by another partner. Codeheroes also created an administration tool for managing any issues. The app, which allows users to connect with each other and share links or photos with all followers through a single click, was supported by Amazon Web Services as a cloud provider. The project, which cost between $52,000 and $55,000, began in December 2015 and was completed in April 2016.

Codeheroes was hired by a financial services startup in Poland to plan and develop their systems. The startup aimed to replace e-commerce checkout pages with their own widget, integrating with Polish payment providers and courier companies. Codeheroes was involved from the early stages, participating in the first architecture planning process and continuing with development, project management, and business requirements interactions. They also helped create initial business plans in the absence of a CTO. The system, written in Scala, included PHP plug-ins connecting to legacy systems used by the startup. Codeheroes' team, which generally involved four people, began working with the startup in March 2016, and the relationship is ongoing.

A financial company focusing on forestry investments engaged Codeheroes to create an application that would simplify their Excel operations. Codeheroes built an accounting solution that allows the company to track financial information for clients. The application, which mostly works as an offline tool, was developed by one Codeheroes developer. The project, which cost $80,000, began in July 2016 and ended two months later in September.
