Code District was hired by a behavioral insights software company to assist in the design and front-end development of a Single Page Application (SPA) app. The app, which serves as an admin portal in a B2B SaaS perspective, was designed using Figma and developed using Angular. Code District tapped into existing APIs to build the app and also developed a framework for measuring and tracking user data using Mixpanel. The team consisted of 6-10 employees and was chosen based on their pricing, culture fit, and value for cost.

A consulting and business services company engaged Code District for custom software development. The project involved finalizing the design and building a platform that could read, process, and write back files. The platform, which processes leave of absence requests, integrates the clients' HRIS and payroll systems into their LOA systems. The team used JavaScript, AWS hosting, and off-the-shelf software for SFTP processing, among other tools for code generation. Code District was chosen over three other potential companies due to their suitability for the project.

Code District was contracted by a non-profit organization, Capital Good Fund, to build a new website and a custom client portal. The website was designed using Figma and built on WordPress to allow the communications team to manage it without IT assistance. The client portal, built using AWS, allows clients to sign up, fill out applications, keep track of their information, and perform self-service tasks for their loans. The team, which included six members from Code District, was chosen for their quality of work and their flexible engagement model. The project, which began in October 2022, is still ongoing, with an investment of around $125,000.
