Code and Canvas Labs

Code and Canvas Labs have reportedly completed an impressive project for the media production company, AuditionAid. They were tasked to build a comprehensive app that could assist actors, dancers, singers, and other creatives with managing their auditions, callbacks, self-tapes, and bookings. The developers successfully integrated several key features, including smart calendars and reminders, expense tracking, media storage, analytics, and a built-in AI assistant, ANDI. The client found Code and Canvas Labs via an online search and decided to hire them due to the high ratings and strong alignment of company values.

The specific deliverables for the project were diverse and extensive. Code and Canvas Labs developed a user authentication system, both mobile app, and website front-end development, a backend server, and an audition tracking system. They also integrated a calendar, implemented a reminder and notification system, and built a media upload/storage system as well as an expense tracking system. Additionally, Code and Canvas Labs were also responsible for the brand's implementation encompassing colors, typography, and layouts.

From a technical perspective, the project was quite complex. The scope of work also included the integration of API, cloud hosting, deployment via Vercel, app store optimization, and bug fixing and QA testing. The team worked tirelessly to ensure in achieving cross-platform syncing between the app and website, providing robust security and privacy protections, and offering responsive mobile/web designs.
