Coconut Moon

Coconut Moon was contracted by the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce to design and implement a new website. The website was to help the chamber of commerce navigate the changes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic and inform the public about businesses open for takeout, delivery, and outdoor dining. The website also featured links to various businesses and hosted an online auction for artists. The project, which cost around $6,000, began in March 2020 and is still ongoing. The executive director of the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce, who worked directly with Maya, the owner of Coconut Moon, expressed satisfaction with the project.

For Fitness Defined, a personal, semi-private, and group fitness training company, Coconut Moon was hired to create a website that would attract and inform clients. The founder of Coconut Moon, Maya, developed and maintained the website for about 20 years. When the hosting platform attempted to upsell the client to a higher hosting level, Maya's son Will successfully communicated with the hosting company to resolve the issue and secure a refund for the extra payments made. The client appreciated the close geographic location of Coconut Moon and found their services to be a good value for the cost.

An education company hired Coconut Moon to build a website with optional features. The website was to include filterable and searchable resources to assist in nature education. It was required to be built in Drupal to align with corporate requirements and match existing branding. The client found Coconut Moon through an online search and chose them for their great culture fit. The project was successfully executed by a team of 2-5 employees from Coconut Moon, meeting the client's expectations.
