Coconut Moon

Coconut Moon collaborated with the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce to design and implement a new website called Fairfax Open for Business. The website serves as a comprehensive guide for community members, providing updates on the COVID-19 policy changes and shelter-in-place regulations. It also provides information on businesses offering takeout, delivery, and outdoor dining services. The project engaged multiple businesses and included an online auction and a link for artists. The Chamber of Commerce expressed satisfaction with the services of Coconut Moon, noting the company's local roots and their direct communication with the owner, Maya.

For a nonprofit environmental science and education organization, Coconut Moon was brought on to manage several iterations of web design and to manage ongoing updates and new features. The website, created on Drupal, includes multiple calendar views, heavy document uploading and organizing, and video and audio elements. Despite the challenges posed by the extensive back-end access, Coconut Moon was able to meet all of the organization's needs effectively. The client praised the company for their understanding of their business goals and user personalities.

Coconut Moon was hired by an author and speaker to create a website. They provided full web services, working with the client's web designer to set up the site on Weebly. Since then, the client has continued to work with Coconut Moon for all technical and web-related needs, including newsletters. The engagement, which started in 1999, is still ongoing due to the client's positive experiences with the company.
