Cobalt Sign

Cobalt Sign was contracted by software development company VARANIDEA to develop a complex mobile application. The project, which began in January 2021, involved detailed research and development, constituting about 70% of the work. The Cobalt Sign team, which included seven full-time members, developed a robust cross-platform app for iOS and Android using native coding. The project was ongoing as of the time of reporting, with an investment of around $85,000.

Moonsense, a next-generation behavioral data acquisition company, hired Cobalt Sign to develop a cross-platform mobile application called Moonsense Recorder. The app is designed to facilitate rapid prototyping with mobile device sensor data for a range of use cases. Cobalt Sign was chosen for their expertise in using Flutter to develop mobile apps and their track record of achievements. The project was managed by three of Cobalt Sign's team members and used an iterative development process.

A form and survey building platform contracted Cobalt Sign to develop the first iteration of their mobile app for both iOS and Android. The app allows users to view their forms, fill them out, and check their submissions. Cobalt Sign was chosen for their portfolio and unique approach. The project was initially a quick-to-market app with a limited set of features, but new features were added a few months later. Cobalt Sign created the app design, worked closely with the client's API team, and assisted in setting up their Google and Apple app store accounts.
