CloudX was engaged by DePalma Studios to develop a web app for a barge transportation client. The primary challenge was designing an app that barge captains would use. CloudX worked closely with DePalma Studios over three months to identify gaps in the client's user interface. They developed a solution to reduce the client's delivery cost, optimize barge capacity, and add a real-time barge tracking functionality. The project began with five engineers, but the team was later reduced to three. CloudX continues to provide maintenance services for the app. The project has been ongoing since November 2017, and DePalma Studios has invested between $2–$3 million with CloudX.
