CloudX partnered with DePalma Studios to work on a web app development project for a barge transportation customer. The primary goal was to design and develop an app that would be accepted and used by barge captains. Over three months, the CloudX team identified gaps in the customer's user interface, developed a solution to reduce delivery costs and added a real-time barge tracking feature. The project began with five CloudX engineers and has since reduced to three, one of whom serves as the project manager. To date, DePalma Studios has invested between $2-$3 million in this ongoing project.

In another project, CloudX provided staff augmentation for a nearshoring services provider aiming to secure specific software developers for a project. The company chose CloudX due to their geographic proximity, budget-friendly pricing, and good value for cost. The CloudX team, consisting of 2-5 employees, was tasked with custom software development for a fintech company based in the USA.

For DePalma Studios, CloudX also provided app coding and engineering support for a software development project. As an offshore engineering partner, CloudX delivered code engineering solutions and assisted with other client design projects. One of the most significant projects involved a React Native application based on an Azure cloud-based Microsoft architecture. The CloudX team, which included five developers, two QA engineers, a business analyst, and a scrum master, worked on optimizing the existing system and building a new user experience to ensure seamless integration. The ongoing engagement, which began in February 2018, has cost DePalma Studios about $2 million over four years.
