Highlights from Recent Projects
Cloudflight was engaged by a leading umbrella manufacturer in Europe to simplify their product management and rollout processes. The company sought to combine five systems into one backend and two frontends. Cloudflight successfully set up a product information management (PIM) system, integrated all products into the new system, and imported all necessary data. Additionally, they designed and developed a Magento 2 e-commerce storefront that optimally presented the client's high-quality products. The work was well received and the firm continues to provide maintenance for the PIM system. The project, which began in January 2020, cost between €500,000–€1,000,000 (approximately $592,000–$1,184,000 USD).
For the software company, Talon. One, Cloudflight was hired to build an off-the-shelf integration between Talon. One and commercetools. The goal was to develop code that could be implemented by customers in their AWS or Google Cloud accounts, enabling integration between platforms in a few hours instead of days. The project was successful, with Cloudflight demonstrating a strong record of timeline follow-through and avoiding scope creep or increasing expenses. The client was particularly impressed with the project manager's accuracy about timelines and follow-ups.
Cloudflight was contracted by a large pharmacy e-commerce company in Poland to create a mobile application and redevelop their website. The mobile app allows patients to see the availability of certain medicine and prescriptions in selected pharmacies. Cloudflight conducted customer interviews to establish the main flow of the interface, developed a high-level mockup and proof of concept, and eventually turned it into an MVP. The project, which cost between $500,000–$1,000,000, was launched in April 2020 and Cloudflight continues to maintain and upgrade the app and website.
