CloudDrove

CloudDrove was engaged by EQULS, a sports recruitment app, to provide cloud consulting services. The company sought to ensure the security of their data during communication and CloudDrove delivered by configuring AWS to create an infrastructure that included Route 53 for managing load balances. They also implemented automatic skewing depending on traffic, daily backup of database clusters, and multiple caching servers. The project, which cost between $10,000-$25,000, ran from April 2017 to September 2018. The client expressed satisfaction with the services provided by CloudDrove.

In another project, CloudDrove was hired by Thriftify.ie, an e-commerce platform for charity retail, for an AWS migration project. The goal was to utilize scalable and highly available AWS technologies to power their platform, which is used by thousands of shops in Ireland and the UK. CloudDrove was selected due to their ability to provide 24/7 support using multi-continental teams of engineers. The project involved various discovery meetings that helped CloudDrove produce a detailed project specification and corresponding technical design for a highly available and fault-tolerant architecture.

CloudDrove also worked with Sweetspot AB, a Swedish startup developing modern solutions for the golf industry. The company hired CloudDrove to set up an AWS Cloud Infrastructure based on Kubernetes, Spot Instances, and Docker containers. After a few meetings, CloudDrove suggested a strategy based on the company's requirements. The project involved the creation of DEV and TEST environments based on a simple Jenkins setup and application wrapped into Docker containers. Eventually, these environments were moved into a Kubernetes cluster along with AWS spot instances to make them more powerful and cost-effective. The client was pleased with the strategy developed by CloudDrove.
