Cloud Brigade

Cloud Brigade was hired by the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History for IT and website maintenance and support. The company helped address ongoing IT issues due to lack of maintenance and oversight. They also secured the museum's site which was under attack from hackers causing regular crashes. Cloud Brigade was selected due to its high recommendations and alignment with the museum's mission and values. The company migrated the museum's internet connection from wireless broadband to a newly launched fiber offering, resolved access issues tied to old login information, set up VPN access during the pandemic, and provided ongoing tech support. The museum was in contact with Chris and Stephanie predominantly over email, with Chris leading the project.

The Destination Marketing Organization of Santa Cruz County hired Cloud Brigade to migrate their old CMS platform to a new one. The goal was to minimize service disruption while maintaining the website's traffic of over 1 million annually. Cloud Brigade was chosen for being the most technical and cost-effective among three vendors who bid for the project. The project began in October 2018 with the aim of migrating the website to a better CMS platform that would allow staff members to easily change content without much back-end knowledge. The team from Cloud Brigade consisted of their CEO, Chris Miller, developers Rex Reyes, Ben, Darren Odden, and project manager Stephanie Nelson.
