Clever Grapes

In a project for AgData, an agricultural data company, Clever Grapes was tasked with modernizing an internal system used to collect and process agricultural sales and inventory data. With a team of 6-10 employees, they enabled distributors and retailers to upload and validate their data through a self-service web interface, improved data quality using automated validation and transformation, generated market analytics and trend insights, introduced a scalable, cloud-based architecture, and prepared the system for future use cases. Tecan, a company that develops and manufactures laboratory automation solutions, engaged Clever Grapes to improve scalability, consistency, and security by unifying IaC practices, automating infrastructure management, simplifying identity and permission models, enhancing observability and cost efficiency, and preparing for future AWS expansion. The project, which involved a single Clever Grapes employee, included a migration plan, cloud architecture, security setup, and operational support, among other deliverables.
