Circiter

Circiter was hired by Acciona, a major Spanish company specializing in construction and renewable energy, to develop a database for their e-scooter sharing service. The project involved the creation of a dashboard to manage data from 14,000 scooters, the associated app, weather variables, and manual reports. Circiter built the databases using PostgreSQL and developed the dashboard using Flask and Dash (Python), enabling the management team to ask complex queries and replicate Excel dashboards that were formerly manually updated. The project was overseen by Luz F., a senior data scientist, developer, and project manager at Circiter, with the support of Ludovica V., a junior data scientist. As a result, Acciona now has real-time dashboards, mailing and report generation capabilities, all of which are automated. Furthermore, Luz provided guidance and training to junior data scientists at Acciona. The company was chosen for its focus on simple solutions and free software, which contrasted with vendors who offered expensive platforms and complex architectures.
