Chronicle Cinema actively engaged with Mercer Transportation, a trucking transportation company, with the goal to create Mercer's first national television commercial. This mission was significant as the company was carrying a 47-year legacy of trucking in America, and its maiden television appearance was scheduled to air during the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race. The Chronicle team was selected based on their high ratings, location proximity, culture, and remarkable value for cost.

The commercial was not only an assignment for Chronicle Cinema but a step outside their comfort zone. Despite this, the team of 2-5 individuals delivered meticulously. They played multiple roles, from scriptwriting to filming and from producing the commercial to ensuring its approval for telecast. The standards set by the Chronicle team were highly acknowledged by Mercer, making them the most appreciated production team Mercer has ever worked with.
