Highlights from Recent Projects
Chromatic was engaged by an online magazine company to update their outdated codebase and implement a new design for their website. The company spent around $200,000 for the project which started in January 2019 and launched in October 2019. Chromatic first conducted an audit of the existing site, provided documentation, and after consideration, the company decided to build a new site in Drupal. The site was built feature by feature and the engagement is still on-going with Chromatic on monthly retainer for bug fixes and additional features.
In a project for a mobile development company, Chromatic was tasked with boosting the client's team in order to meet aggressive deadlines. They provided technical expertise specifically in Drupal 8 and UX/UI design. Chromatic's engagement with the client started in May 2013 and is still ongoing, with costs varying between $10,000 to $100,000 a month. Chromatic guided the client's development teams from the start, served as direct backend resources, and even led the UX/UI development efforts. They built an entire pattern library for design, which is now being utilized for frontend site modifications.
For a cutting tools manufacturer, Chromatic was brought on to create a new website, handling everything from design to implementation. The project ran from November 2020 to February 2021, with an investment of around $50,000. Chromatic built the website from scratch on Shopify, with the criteria being it had to be launched within 3-4 weeks and be manageable by a non-technical person from the client's company. The new site had to cater to three different business segments: professional, craft, and safety. Chromatic also made sure to map the client's previous site to ensure no data was lost, a feature that other bidding companies did not offer.
