Chromatic was engaged by a mobile development company to enable the team to meet aggressive deadlines and provide technical expertise in Drupal 8 and UX/UI design. Chromatic guided the development teams from the early stages, helped understand the key components of the platform, and led the frontend UX/UI development efforts. They also assisted in the migration from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8, enabling the client to redesign their entire custom website using the latest UX/UI design thinking. The ongoing partnership, which started in May 2013, has seen the client invest between $1,000,000 – $5,000,000 with Chromatic.

The online magazine hired Chromatic to update their outdated codebase, implement a new design, and accelerate the implementation of new features. Chromatic audited the existing site and decided to build a new site in Drupal. The new site was built feature by feature, with at least ten members of Chromatic's team involved in the project. The partnership started in January 2019, and the new site was launched in October 2019. The client continues to work with Chromatic on a monthly retainer for bug fixes and to add new features, having spent close to $200,000 so far.

Chromatic was brought on board by OLFA, a cutting tools manufacturer, to create a new website from scratch on Shopify. The website, which needed to be launched within 3–4 weeks, catered to three different business segments – pro, craft, and safety. Chromatic ensured that the site was built on a platform that a non-technical person from the client's company could maintain. The project, which ran from November 2020 to February 2021, saw an investment of around $50,000 from the client.
