Cheryl Loh | Freelance Graphic Designer

Cheryl Loh, a freelance graphic designer, was hired by a community foundation in Vancouver to create a holiday e-card for their donors. Selected for her diverse, playful design style and her status as a BIPOC vendor, Cheryl worked closely with the communications manager, providing a mock-up and completing one round of revisions before finalizing the design. The project was successful, leading to further collaborations with Cheryl.

In another project, Cheryl was engaged by a crown corporation facilitating trade between Canada and other world economies. She was called upon to create a variety of infographics and illustrations for both internal and external audiences. Cheryl's familiarity with a colleague and her impressive portfolio made her a natural choice for the projects. Each project started with a creative brief, after which Cheryl would provide a detailed estimate and a realistic timeline. The final deliverables were typically well-aligned with the initial vision, requiring only minor tweaks.

Cheryl also worked with the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, providing graphic design services for social media graphics, infographics, and other marketing materials. Cheryl was chosen for her ability to do both graphic design and illustration, and for her adaptability to various corporate clients and their overall brand look and feel. She worked closely with the internal project manager, quickly absorbing the corporate brand guidelines and efficiently conveying complex information into digestible, engaging materials. Cheryl's attention to detail and efficiency greatly reduced the need for revisions, resulting in a successful collaboration.
