CheckBox Software & Consultancy was hired by Allianz Sigorta A.Ş., an insurance company, to perform a Business Rules Audit. The company lacked sufficient experience with Business Rules Engine (BRE), and all their business rules were embedded in source codes, which was unmanageable. CheckBox was tasked with regenerating all business rules at IBM Rule Engine to create a lean, manageable business model. CheckBox was selected for the project due to their successful completion of similar BRE projects in the past. The CheckBox team, consisting of 11 members, scrutinized the business rules in the database, met with business units to identify new needs, created a manageable BRE flow, and divided business rules into logical groups before implementing them. The project was completed on time, on scope, and on budget, resulting in a high level of client satisfaction.
