The objective was to create a platform that was simple enough for beginners but also had the scalability and performance required by serious authors and publishers. Chapters Press Publishers started with a full discovery phase, working closely with the Blocky team to understand how users interact with book publishing platforms and identify shortcomings of existing solutions. They then designed a clean, minimal interface and developed a cross-platform publishing platform with multi-format support, real-time sales tracking, publication history, and secure author authentication. Additionally, they integrated third-party APIs for distribution, printing, and payment processing. After the platform was launched, Chapters Press Publishers refined the onboarding flow to improve retention and reduce confusion among first-time authors.
