Centricweb successfully developed a mobile application for a hospital's hematology and oncology department. The application was designed for iOS and Android platforms using Java. The app was developed to aid general doctors and specialists in determining the necessary investigations for patients with hematological problems. The app, built from a flow chart provided by the hematologists, allows doctors to navigate through different paths and request various investigations based on the abnormality of the blood sample. The project, which ran from January 2016 to January 2017, was led by the managing director of Centricweb and cost £2,000 (US$2,781).
In another project, Centricweb developed a cross-platform app for Walsall Alliance, a GP federation working in primary care within the British NHS. The aim was to create an easy-to-use app for clinicians, using COPD guidelines developed by consultants. The app, designed for iOS and Android, was developed from clinical pathways provided by the client. Centricweb took care of everything, including designing the wireframes and layouts. The interface and design of the app were praised as very intuitive and effective. The project, which ran from February 2017 to October 2017, was led by the owner of Centricweb and cost around £5,000 ($6,864 USD).
