Cardigan successfully facilitated a staff retreat for the Austin Parks Foundation, a nonprofit organization in Austin, Texas. The company introduced different activities including the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator personality assessment to help the team understand their communication styles better. They also helped the nonprofit create a 'why' statement for the year, explaining their work's importance and how each team member contributes to it. The Austin Parks Foundation appreciated Cardigan's approach and was satisfied with their services, which were provided from January 2019 to February 2020.
In another project, Cardigan assisted a Texas-based grocery retail company in creating a video to showcase their construction and design department. The aim was to attract passive candidates in the market. Cardigan helped map out the video, integrating company culture elements to make it enticing. They collected footage from various locations, edited, and produced the video. The client was impressed with Cardigan's understanding of their business culture and their ability to quickly package the project plan. The project was completed in December 2018.
Cardigan also worked with the ATX HR Meetup, an HR community in Austin, Texas, to understand their members' motivations and expectations. Cardigan conducted interviews with community members, sponsors, and competitors to gather different perspectives. They then presented the research trends and feedback, designed brand campaigns, and created PowerPoint overviews with individual statements about their passions and connections. They also produced social media work and merchandise like t-shirts, koozies, and masks. The client was impressed with Cardigan's curiosity and enthusiasm, and their engagement started in March 2019 and continues to date.
