CalTech was engaged by the State Bank of Texas to manage its IT services and cybersecurity. The bank, a $2 billion institution based in Dallas, was dissatisfied with its previous network management provider and sought a different partner. CalTech now handles all the bank's network, server, and IT issues, hosting the bank's servers in its data center and managing its software subscriptions. The team at CalTech also purchased hardware and software as needed, providing both on-site and remote services. The most crucial service they offer is cybersecurity through their one-defense program, given the bank's constant risk as a financial institution. The partnership, which began in November 2016, is ongoing and costs the bank around $35,000 per month. The bank came to work with CalTech through a referral from another bank and chose them after speaking with their other clients.
