CADmechXR was hired by a mental health startup to develop a Virtual Reality (VR) platform. The project was selected for Forbes 30 under 30 to showcase at a conference in Detroit in 2019. The goal was to develop a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that could demonstrate what users would experience on the platform. CADmechXR's team, although small, was effective in creating the MVP, recording 360 videos, and bringing the client's ideas to life. The client expressed satisfaction with the smooth process and the final product, highlighting the collaborative nature of the work.
CADmechXR was also hired by a plastic automotive interior components manufacturer to implement Augmented Reality (AR) and VR solutions. The company aimed to create a Proof of Concept (POC) with a small library of decorative finishes that could be digitally imposed on physical parts using AR. They also wanted to explore creating an AR training module for their machine operators and injection mold technicians. CADmechXR successfully developed an AR marketing tool that allowed different finishes to be virtually showcased on plain plastic parts. They also created a VR training tool for onboarding new operators on injection molding machines. The client was impressed with CADmechXR's ability to execute the projects with minimal guidance and their innovative solutions to improve the training process and production time.
