In another project, Cactus worked with HN Communications, a consultancy providing services on environment, sustainability, and new technology. HN Communications had recently won a large contract and engaged Cactus for business planning, people planning, financial planning, and forecasting services. Cactus provided strategic support, helping HN Communications understand where to make the next hire, if they had the right financing structure in place, and how to keep their budgets on target while growing. The engagement resulted in the successful planning and execution of business strategies, leading HN Communications to consider reengaging with Cactus for future planning.
Cactus also provided business consulting for a UK-based digital marketing agency specializing in SEO and PPC. The agency provided Cactus with various pieces of information about their company, which Cactus analysed to identify opportunities, weaknesses, and threats in the business framework. Cactus then developed actionable plans to improve the agency's operations from every angle, focusing on finance and sales and marketing. This resulted in the agency gaining a clearer understanding of their business sources and a significant improvement in their operations. The agency continues to work with Cactus on an ongoing monthly contract, since their first engagement in September 2020.
