Highlights from Recent Projects
ByteLion was hired by a mobile security firm serving the US Government to develop a complex healthcare mobile application for the US Department of Defense (DOD). The application was designed to assist medics in battle by collecting medical data on wounded soldiers. ByteLion not only developed the application, but also created a library of reusable building blocks that could be utilized by other app developers to create more specialized applications. The ByteLion team, consisting of a project manager, developers, app testers, and technical documentation writers, was selected based on a recommendation from another client. The firm owner praised ByteLion's handling of the project's multiple stakeholders and inputs, stating that the contract could not have been completed without them.
ByteLion collaborated with Allegis Group, an international human capital management firm, to create a custom-built software product. The product, a personal website builder, was designed to highlight the multidimensional roles that individuals play beyond their professional positions. ByteLion was selected over two other software development firms due to their proactive, ambitious, and enthusiastic approach. The project, which began in March 2020, was temporarily paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic but resumed in August 2020, with the first Minimum Viable Product (MVP) delivered in October 2020. The total investment for the project was around $50,000.
Mytonomy, a healthcare education company, hired ByteLion to revamp their Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. The collaboration began with ByteLion helping to redesign the company's website, transitioning it from HTML to HubSpot, and adding more dynamic elements like call-to-action buttons. The success of the website redesign led to an expanded partnership, with ByteLion assisting in redesigning Mytonomy's products from a UX perspective. The partnership, which began in June 2020, continues, with a total investment of $120,000 to date.
