In a partnership with Utility Management for Africa, ByteAnt developed a software system and integrated the company's existing legacy system into it. The software system, which was developed using Azure Cloud, SQL, MongoDB, .NET, Angular, and Bootstrap, includes key features such as an integration with remote meter services and a data engine that accommodates the different data structures of South African municipalities. ByteAnt also developed iOS and Android apps for technicians and clients. The partnership began in May 2018 and is ongoing, with a total investment of $700,000.

ByteAnt was hired by Orion Web, a digital consultancy, to implement new features and fix bugs on an existing Umbraco CMS website. The project involved familiarizing with the codebase, various environments, and the deployment workflow.
