Butterfly

Butterfly was hired by a veterinary telemedicine firm to develop a cloud-based telemedicine platform from scratch. The platform, which was launched in March 2020, allows pet owners to book appointments with veterinary professionals worldwide and enables veterinarians to consult with pet owners through video consultations. The platform has integrated payment processes and records all appointments. The project is ongoing with continuous improvements being made based on market demands. The client has invested approximately $1.3 million USD in this project since it began in September 2018.

In a separate project, Butterfly was contracted by an asset management firm to design and develop a new website. The WordPress site was built from scratch and features a basic home page, an about us page, a blog page, and a contact page. Butterfly completed the majority of the work quickly and is also providing ongoing maintenance services. The engagement, which began in February 2023, cost the client less than $10,000.

Butterfly was also hired by a food technology production company to develop a landing page ahead of the company's food production start. The company provided an outline of its objectives and Butterfly took control of the project, designing the landing page around the company's existing logo and creating functionality for the site to host video content. Butterfly continues to host and maintain the site and the client is considering expanding the project scope to include SEO or marketing in the next 3-6 months. The client has invested approximately $3,000 in the project so far.
