Highlights from Recent Projects
BusyMachines collaborated with a global food and beverage company to develop a platform for implementing a new questionnaire. The project began in December 2018 and was expected to conclude by the end of 2019. The platform was built from scratch, ensuring compliance with specific regulations. The company had a direct line of communication with a primary contact person at BusyMachines.
In another project, BusyMachines developed a Mac and Windows application for the music web store, NativeDSD. The engagement began in August 2020 and was nearing completion at the time of the report. Given the store’s high data transfer volume, the new application aimed to give customers more control over their downloads and direct access to the servers and files. BusyMachines designed the UI/UX, fixed bugs, and applied the store's new branding to the app. The company invested approximately $21,000 USD in the project.
BusyMachines also worked with Bostel Technologies, a health tech company, to develop a consumer-facing app for a skin cancer screening service. The size of the team from BusyMachines was between 2-5 employees. The team worked closely with Bostel from day one to define user and business needs for the app, developed low-fidelity workflows and mid-fidelity mockups, and revised them into high-fidelity prototypes. They also developed a new logo for the app and ensured secure and seamless backend integration. Post-launch, BusyMachines continued to support the app, producing updates to maintain its currency in the TestFlight program and to update evolving software components and APIs.
