Highlights from Recent Projects
BusyMachines was hired by a global food and beverage company to develop a platform for implementing a new questionnaire. The platform was built from scratch, ensuring compliance with certain regulations. The client worked directly with one main point of contact from BusyMachines and was introduced to the company through a collaborating university. The project began in December 2018 and was expected to be completed by the end of 2019.
For the music web store, NativeDSD, BusyMachines developed a Mac and Windows application. The project started with a prototype built by the client, and BusyMachines designed the UI/UX, fixed bugs and issues, and applied the store's new branding to the app. The application was built in Electron for both Mac and Windows. The client worked directly with two people from BusyMachines and was also in contact with their CEO and another founding member. The project started in August 2020 and was in its final stages at the time of the feedback.
BusyMachines was hired by Bostel Technologies, a health tech company, to develop a consumer-facing app for skin cancer screening and to develop data communication and storage protocols. The team from BusyMachines worked closely with the client from Day 1 to define the user and business needs for the app. They developed low-fidelity workflows and mid-fidelity mockups, then revised them into high-fidelity prototypes. They also developed a color scheme, user flow, and a new logo for the app, and ensured secure and seamless integration at the backend. Once the design and architecture were finalized, BusyMachines implemented the iOS app that could be deployed via Apple's TestFlight program. They continued to support the app, producing updates to maintain currency in TestFlight, and to update evolving software components and APIs.
