Business Automatics JSC was engaged by OneTouch Direct, a call center, to develop a computer telephony integration (CTI) application. The project arose from the need to replace an existing product that was no longer supported in North America. Rather than spend another $1.5 million on a new CTI application, the decision was made to build a new one. Business Automatics JSC was tasked with reskinning the app's UI, transitioning it from a Sencha framework to React.js. The project, which began in September 2014, involved a team of six people at one point, and has cost between $350,000 and $400,000 so far. The application has been rolled out to parts of the enterprise over the past year, and work continues to refine features and expand its use.
Business Automatics JSC was hired by a technology development company to build a customized cloud-based payroll system. The platform, developed in PHP with an SQL database, is fully secure and can be used by multiple companies simultaneously. It includes staff attendance monitoring that can link to a fingerprint reader, and can store and print paychecks and tax forms. The system took a year and a half to build, with an investment of $20,000-$25,000.
