BuildThis was hired by Hangar A, LLC to develop an MVP platform for their air cargo shipping business. The project involved both frontend and backend development and required extensive research into the commercial airline cargo industry. The platform, similar to Kayak/Expedia/Travelocity, but for cargo shipping, included a search tool, real-time flight information, and tables displaying rates and surcharges. The backend was built to process hundreds of users simultaneously performing searches and processing queries. The team comprised of a frontend developer, a backend developer, and a strategic researcher/designer. The project was successful and the client praised the team for their ability to create robust and functional web applications.

For Digital Avengers, a small digital marketing agency based in Chicago, BuildThis was tasked with the same-day development of a sharp, simple website. The team stripped down the existing site and started from scratch, creating a new site in WordPress. They consulted with the client on themes, design, and other aspects. The client, who had previously hired BuildThis for two other projects, was pleased with the results and appreciated the team's design expertise.

BuildThis was also hired by RoboToaster, LLC to redesign an external-facing blog. The team was responsible for advising on site design and functionality, as well as handling the development and relaunch of the blog. The redesign, which was built on WordPress, involved creating wireframes and static mockups of key pages, and transferring and applying the updated design to the existing content. The team also made changes and provided direction to enhance the end user experience. The client was looking for a long-term partner for this type of project and was satisfied with BuildThis's quality development work. The team included the president, a senior web developer, and a project manager.
