Brightfield Group successfully completed a market research project for Veritas Farms, a company specializing in full-spectrum CBD products. The research was conducted to analyze Veritas Farms' standing in relation to its competitors, particularly in areas of large-chain and e-commerce sales. To achieve this, the Brightfield Group team assessed their existing data on Veritas Farms, sharing key insights with the company. They also surveyed more than 5,000 customers to understand consumer preferences for CBD products. The results from this survey were used to answer specific questions posed by Veritas Farms, helping them to understand what forms of CBD are most popular among consumers. The project, which ran from July to October 2021, was led by a team of 2-3 people from Brightfield Group, with additional support from a behind-the-scenes team responsible for data mining. Veritas Farms chose to work with Brightfield Group due to their industry reputation, their existing data on the cannabis industry, and their clear distinction between hemp and marijuana, which was crucial for Veritas Farms as a hemp-exclusive company.
