Braid

Braid was hired by Teak & Twine, a custom gift box company, to develop a website that could handle customer customization of gift orders. Braid completely rebuilt the website, adding a software for customers to create their own custom gifts and a checkout process that allowed for unlimited gift sending with a single checkout. Braid also added features such as a quiz to the homepage and functionality for syncing the site to several email marketing lists. The project, which ran from December 2017 to May 2018, cost between $40,000 and $50,000. The client expressed satisfaction with the results, stating that the functionality went beyond their wildest expectations.

Sun Tribe Solar, a commercial solar company, engaged Braid to refresh their web presence and effectively communicate their work and values to their partners. Braid worked to streamline the user experience, implementing a navigation menu and a content management system for the website. They also developed a unique solar calculator tool that allows users to visualize potential solar system sizes for their properties. This tool, which also works on mobile, was a unique challenge that the client is very proud of. Braid's design allows for the website to continue evolving and adding new elements as needed. The project started in February 2019 and is ongoing. The client praised Braid for their listening skills, questioning approach, and the report they delivered outlining what they wanted to showcase.
