Highlights from Recent Projects
Braid, a software development company, was hired by Teak & Twine, a custom gift box maker, to develop a new e-commerce platform. The goal was to allow customers to customize their own gift boxes directly on the website. Braid built the site from scratch, adding innovative features such as a gift customization software and a checkout process that allows for sending gifts to multiple recipients in one transaction. They also added a quiz to the homepage and integrated the site with several email marketing lists. The project, which ran from December 2017 to May 2018, cost between $40,000 and $50,000. The client was extremely satisfied with the results, stating that Braid exceeded their expectations in every aspect of the project.
Braid partnered with Sun Tribe Solar, a commercial solar company, to refresh their web presence and effectively communicate the quality of their work. The project involved creating a streamlined and user-friendly experience for their partners, each of whom has different energy needs. Braid implemented a navigation menu, a content management system, and a solar calculator tool on the site. The solar calculator allows users to draw out a potential solar system size for their property, a unique feature in the industry. Braid also brought in additional resources to help find the right design fit for the site. The project began in February 2019 and is ongoing. The client praised Braid for their ability to listen, ask questions, and deliver a product that allows for future growth and development.
