Box UK

Box UK was engaged by RS Components, a global distributor of electronic and industrial products, to rectify issues with their website. The website was plagued by constant errors and problems that led to a decision to rebuild it from scratch. Box UK provided web development and design services, reviewing the existing code, and identifying numerous errors. The team then built a new site using PHP with a Symfony framework, incorporating elements from the old site. They also redesigned the site and moved it from Rackspace to Google Cloud. The project, which began in October 2013, has seen an investment of between £3 million–£5 million (approximately $4 million –$7 million).

In another project, Box UK was hired by RS Components to launch a new online presence in Vietnam and Indonesia. The goal was to create an intuitive, best-in-class platform with navigation at its core and built on key SEO principles. Box UK, given their longstanding relationship with RS and understanding of the company's back-end systems, was deemed the perfect fit for the project. The project was a significant investment in the SEA region by RS Components, with Box UK contributing regional ecommerce experience and domain expertise. The project resulted in a robust core infrastructure for RS’ future SEA online presence.

JP Wales, a company that supports primary care and general practices in Wales, engaged Box UK for their development services. Box UK built their website and helped with different components of their software platform using Laravel PHP. The features they worked on include booking functionality, invoicing, search parameters, notifications, and mail outs. The engagement, which started in June 2020, has so far seen an investment of about $370,000.
