Box UK

Box UK was hired by RS Components to address issues with their malfunctioning website. The team at Box UK reviewed the existing code and decided to rebuild the site from scratch using PHP with a Symfony framework. They also redesigned the site and migrated it from Rackspace to Google Cloud. The team consisted of a project manager, a product owner, systems engineers, a solution architect, developers, and QA engineers. The project, which began in 2013, has cost between £3 million–£5 million (approximately $4 million –$7 million) and is still ongoing.

In another project, Box UK was hired by RS Components to establish a new online presence in Vietnam and Indonesia. The goal was to create a best-in-class platform with a strong focus on navigation and SEO principles. Box UK's team, which included a project manager, account manager, business analyst, solution architect, senior designer, principal developer, lead systems engineer, developers, and quality assurance, took a phased approach to delivery. The project resulted in a robust core infrastructure for RS' future SEA online presence. The cost and timeline of this project were not specified.

JP Wales hired Box UK to take over the development services for their company’s website and software platform. The team at Box UK, which included an account manager, a project manager, three lead developers, one UX specialist, and one QA specialist, built the website using Laravel PHP and worked on features such as booking functionality, invoicing, search parameters, notifications, and mail outs. The project, which began in June 2020, has so far cost about $370,000 and is still ongoing.
