Bounteous, formerly known as Demac Media, was approached by a multi-channel retailer of baby gear and accessories to create one of the largest baby e-commerce sites in Canada. The retailer had previously attempted e-commerce but did not have the necessary resources and expertise to make it successful. Bounteous was tasked with a complete overhaul of the existing site, including full website design and coding. The project also involved the development of custom features that were not available in Magento, the e-commerce platform they were using. This included building a baby registry add-on and extending the Magento API functions for full integration with the retailer's ERP software, Blue Link. The project resulted in a fully functional e-commerce site with custom features tailored to the retailer's needs.
