Bounteous, previously known as Demac Media, partnered with a multi-channel baby gear retailer with the goal of creating one of the largest baby e-commerce sites in Canada. The client, having attempted e-commerce in the past without success, sought Bounteous's expertise to take their online presence to the next level. Bounteous was responsible for the full website design, site coding, and custom additions that were not readily available on Magento, the chosen e-commerce platform. This included a baby registry feature, which was a key component of the client's business. Furthermore, the Bounteous team expanded and rebuilt several Magento API functions for seamless integration with the client's ERP software, Blue Link. Custom extensions were created to handle two-way order processing, a feature not supported by Magento at the time. This strategic partnership led to the successful creation of a comprehensive and functional e-commerce platform for the baby gear retailer.
