Highlights from Recent Projects
BomberJacket Networks was engaged by Cub Foods, a grocery store, to address their WiFi and network problems that were affecting their new grocery shopping program, Instacart. The BomberJacket team, led by Mike, the owner and CTO, conducted an assessment of the network issues and identified three areas with poor WiFi signals. The team then installed a solution to boost the signal after approval from the store's IT head. This project, which cost between $15,000 and $20,000, was carried out between November and December 2020. The store had been utilizing BomberJacket's services for over ten years.
In a separate project, BomberJacket Networks was hired to upgrade the wireless network of a retail grocery store. The store's wired and wireless network had reached the end of its lifecycle and required updating. After analyzing the wired and wireless environment, BomberJacket created a capacity design for both environments and implemented it. They verified that the coverage and capacity requirements were met for both systems. The project was led by Mike Bramm, with the support of two professional IT specialists.
BomberJacket Networks was also contracted by a family practice medical clinic to replace all the network switches for their telephone system. The project involved providing quotes on different options, demonstrating each option, swapping out the old equipment, and building the network. The team also provides ongoing support. The project, which started in August 2020, cost around $88,000. The medical clinic has been working with BomberJacket Networks for almost 20 years.
