Bolter Technologies

Bolter Technologies worked with the Institute of Regional Studies, a think tank, on the project of building a real-time cyber complaint tracking and regulatory governance platform. This project aimed to automate the multi-platform violation workflows, enforce a tamper-proof cloud evidence storage, introduce dual-tier account/content case tracking, and executive compliance analytics. The company was selected due to its budget-friendly pricing, fitting culture, and commendable value for cost.

During the project, Bolter Technologies assigned 2 to 5 employees who replaced the previous fragmented compliance workflow with a single real-time platform. Over eight weeks, they designed and built the full platform, complete with frontend, API, database, cloud evidence storage, real-time sync, and reporting. Notable key deliverables were a real-time compliance dashboard, live multi-analyst synchronization, and account-level records. Additionally, they introduced features such as content-level records, Node.js/Express 5 API on Microsoft SQL server, and evidence archiving facilitated via Azure Blob Storage.

The results of the project were quite remarkable, with complaint turnaround dropping from about 92 hours to approximately 9, delivering efficiency that was nearly 90% faster. Bolter technologies was able to successfully track and resolve over 1,095 violating accounts and content items through the newly built platform. The implemented analytics and reporting resources such as Chart.js dashboards provided a comprehensive visual of platform-wise violation distribution, monthly enforcement velocity, and removed-reach metrics. The succinct reporting feature allowed for one-click PDF and Excel exports for leadership briefings.
