Bluespark was hired by Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College to help with navigational challenges on their website. The site was upgraded to the latest version of Drupal, Drupal 8 and the layout and architecture were improved to be more appealing to students, the main users of the site. The team included a director of client success, a UX director and a senior developer and technical strategist amongst others. The project began in August 2019 and aimed to launch by January 2020, with an investment of approximately $15,000 for the first phase of development. The company was happy with the services Bluespark provided and saw an increase in traffic to the site.

In another project, Bluespark worked with UCLA's Digital Library program where they were tasked with building the university's library website. The project evolved to include multiple sites within the library's digital archives. Bluespark designed, developed, and updated several art collection websites within the system, including rebuilding the university archive's website. The team used React and Drupal to code the deliverables. The project started in 2016 and is ongoing, with costs of approximately $2,000-$7,000 per month.

Additionally, Bluespark worked with the UCLA Library on a Drupal customization project. They built a new site to host about 100,000 sound recordings and created an information infrastructure. They also built and configured a media center. Following the success of the first project, Bluespark was tasked with building other Drupal-based websites for specific content. The cost of the project was around $350,000, and it was completed in 2013. The UCLA Library continues to work with Bluespark on several concurrent projects and has a maintenance contract with them.
