Bluelight Studios was engaged by Compucode, a technology solutions company, to develop a comprehensive app for a laundromat. The aim was to automate the laundromat's entire process, allowing customers to book services via a kiosk, mobile or web app. Bluelight Studios was responsible for the development of all three platforms, which were integrated with the same database. The project also required hardware integration with a coin dispenser, cash acceptor, POS, and detergent vending machine. The app was built on Heroku, using Python and Node.js. The project commenced in April 2019 and was completed in June 2019, with Compucode investing between $7,000-$10,000 in the project. Bluelight Studios was chosen for their ability to quickly understand the complex architecture and respond promptly to requests. Currently, Compucode is managing the logic and backend of the project.
