Bluebird Technologies

Bluebird Technologies partnered with Fintec Lab, a payment processing company, to develop a new product offering a collections platform for corporate entities and mid-sized companies in South Africa. The team from Bluebird started by conceptualizing and prototyping the product before moving on to the development phase. They built a React web application that allows corporate clients to manage their payments and a REST API for integration into storefront experiences or mobile apps. The engagement lasted from June 2019 to May 2020, and the client invested approximately $161,000 USD in the project.

In another project, Bluebird Technologies was hired by a data analytics and software development consulting firm to augment their existing software development team and bring in additional senior development expertise. The team from Bluebird worked on the scoping, design, and implementation of a credit platform for a large client to create a new digital market offering. The size of the entire team varied between 5 and 8 people, with Bluebird adding one additional software developer.

Aurora Sustainability, a company with a presence across the USA, UK, South Africa, Europe, and China, hired Bluebird Technologies to build custom software critical for their product. The developers at Bluebird implemented the project based on the provision of designs and a brief while working with a technical product manager from Aurora Sustainability. Two people from Bluebird, the CEO and a senior developer, were involved in this project.
