Blue Tea partnered with Ripple Suicide Prevention to create a custom browser extension for suicide prevention. The extension intercepts harmful online content and redirects users to mental health support options. Blue Tea was chosen for their technical ability, excellent customer service, and fair pricing. The team, which included the Chief Technology Officer, owner, and designers, delivered an intuitive and eye-catching plugin that has been instrumental in saving lives and providing mental health support.
In another project, Blue Tea developed a custom platform for AVC Wise, a service provider for pension contributions in the UK government sector. The platform, built from scratch, manages employee salary reductions for services, specifically supplementary payments into a pension. It offers functionalities for order fulfillment, payroll integration, and supplier integration. The platform, developed using a SQL database, Ruby on Rails architecture, and a standard HTML frontend, has been supported by Blue Tea for the past four years.
Blue Tea also worked with Brandon Medical, a manufacturer of medical equipment, to develop software to control the AV environment in operating rooms. The project involved assessing existing products in the market, designing according to user requirements, building wireframes, and scoping out the architecture of the solution. In addition to developing and testing the code, Blue Tea created a cloud management system for the software and was involved in project management and product deployment. The project, which began in March 2016, is ongoing, with Blue Tea continuing to provide support.
