Highlights from Recent Projects
Blink UX was hired by the YMCA of Greater Seattle to consolidate and redesign their website. The project involved extensive research, including stakeholder interviews and usability studies, to understand the needs and wants of various parts of the organization. The challenge was to bring together over 75 different URLs and external websites into one coherent site that represented all 12 branches of the YMCA Greater Seattle. Blink UX created a strategy for the website, designed the specifications, and helped with content auditing and development. The project, which began in May 2016, was successfully completed by August 2016. The YMCA chose Blink UX due to their ability to transfer skills and share information with other YMCAs, aligning with their Open Y philosophy. The newly designed website now caters to all audiences, including members, volunteers, board members, and donors, and provides a smooth user flow for program registration and donations.
